Origin is Dialectica’s market-insights product. My part is the path the data takes to get there: the pipelines that bring market data from the warehouse into the product, and the APIs that serve it to the frontend.
What I work on
- Data pipelines in Python, dlt, dbt and PostgreSQL, aggregating millions of records into customer-facing insights.
- APIs in Java and Spring Boot that power the product.
- MCP servers and integrations that let AI agents use domain capabilities through controlled authentication and authorization.
What changed so far
- Data ingestion is more than 40% faster than the legacy implementation.
- The pipeline architecture has more than 30% fewer moving parts.
How I approach it
The same way I approached platform work: remove before you add. Fewer components mean fewer places for data to go wrong, and a pipeline that the next engineer can read in an afternoon.
